An introduction to Raga Malkauns
India possesses a variety
of classical and non classical music. In music each and every song either it is
a vocal one or an instrumental it is always based on some of the raga. Malkauns
is also one of the ragas of Indian classical music and it comes among one of
the oldest classic ragas of Indian music. It belongs to the family of Shaivait
music school.

This instrumental music
is played on Shehnai (Trumpeted) by the legend Ustad Bismillah Khan. Bismillah
Khan was a well known Shehnai player around the world.
