John Francis Delay famous with his stage name John Delay was born in Wheeling Illinois on July 20, 1985. His father R.F. Daley was an actor and his mother Nancy Delay was a piano teacher.

Daley is an American musician, film director, actor and a screen writer. In 2014 he was nominated for 2014 PRISM Award for his best performance in television series Bones aired by FOX television in United States. He is a keyboard player and also sings for Dayplayer.
